Francisco teaches for the Mannes College Preparatory Division and Lehman College-CUNY. He also teaches private lessons.
As a performer and a teacher, Francisco loves what he does, especially bringing the beauty of making music, and of the guitar, to his students. He has taught children ages 6-18 at the Mannes Preparatory Department and adults privately and at the university level for many years . He teaches beginner to advanced students how to read music, chords and melodies, strumming, rasgueado, right and left hand technique, and, of course, the full range of repertoire, from the Renaissance to Contemporary works, at all levels for the guitar.
